Farmhouse Flowers is a small flower farm located on the Allegheny Plateau in Pennsylvania.

“Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine to the mind.”

Several years ago our family decided we wanted to manage our fields to better support pollinator populations. We started raising honeybees, and converted several acres of farm fields into native plant meadows. These meadows along with beds of cut flowers became a floral symphony attended by honeybees, bumblebees, butterflies, moths, and birds. And though we started flower farming for the benefit of pollinators, it became clear that a field full of flowers was also good for our own well being.

Farmhouse Flowers invites you to get our locally grown, fresh cut flowers.

You pick ~ If you are feeling like composing your own bouquet, please text me at 814-715-2057 or email me at lynne.e.kepler@gmail.com to reserve a time. If you are considering doing this, please know that mornings between 8 am and 10 am are set aside for cutting. Later evening times are also a possibility. It is important to stick to these times of the day for harvesting flowers due to the fact that cutting flowers in the heat of the day may cause flowers to be susceptible to wilting or may cause flowers to have less of a vase life. Additionally, You Pick times need to worked around my teaching job.

The cost for these bouquets will be fifty cents per stem for up to 20 stems.

**Note : Dahlias are running a little behind this year, and most likely won’t be available until mid August. Updates will be coming. Dahlias will be $1.00 per stem and a limit of five dahlias.
